During phone talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin discussed the trade and economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and Azerbaijan and also paid special attention to the issues of immunizing the population against the coronavirus, the press service of the Government of the Russian Federation reported on Wednesday.
“The heads of governments discussed current issues on the development of trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan, including the implementation of joint projects in various sectors, as well as cooperation for integration within the CIS countries. There was special focus on the fight against the coronavirus and massive vaccination of the population,” the press release reads.
Mishustin and Asadov also mentioned the significance of the activities of the trilateral task force of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia for unblocking of transport and economic links in the Caucasus.
