The First Deputy Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces Karim Valiyev visited the Azerbaijani military units located in Karvachar (Kelbajar). The Azerbaijani defense ministry informed this to Haqqin.az.

"The chief of the General Staff of the army got familiarized with the conditions created for the staff and servicemen of the headquarters, inspected the canteen put into operation. K. Valiyev asked about the social and living conditions of the servicemen serving at an altitude of up to 3,400 meters on the Armenian border, and followed—from the command observation point—the adversary's actions, gave additional instructions on organizing military operations and conducting combat duty," the source added.
