Iran will bring those guilty of the assassination of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani to justice, the Iranian Foreign Ministry declared on the occasion of the second anniversary of the death of army general Soleimani and his supporters near the airport in Baghdad, Mehr reports.

“The assassination of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani serves as a brilliant example of state terrorism under the direct order of the former President of the United States, and the Islamic Republic of Iran will bring the guilty to justice,” the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s statement reads.

Earlier, representative of the Iranian MFA Said Hatibzade declared that army general Soleimani was a hero in the fight against terrorism.
