The economy unit of Israel’s State Attorney's Office has submitted to an international court the indictment against Aeronautics and its three top employees with a lawsuit of the Ministry of Defense for violating the law on export control that concerns the company’s major client, Newsru.co.il reports.
The inquest was conducted by the investigators of the department for particularly grave and international crimes at LAHAV-433 and investigators of the Ministry of Defense.
The court prohibited the release of any detail of the indictment.
According to Jpost, all the details of this case are not disclosed since supposedly the buyer is a country with which Israel has delicate relations, and the disclosure of details may cause harm to the sale of Israeli UAVs to other foreign buyers.
As in 2016, there were reports on the use of an Israeli weapon in Armenia in 2019 as well. In 2019, Israel’s Channel 12 reported that Armenia was struck by Azerbaijan’s strike UAV designed by Aeronautics.
