Bolivian police have reported a record batch of cocaine seized in 2021, TASS reported, citing the Ministry of Government of this South American country.
"Minister of Government Eduardo del Castillo has announced a historic record set during the work of the government. More than 20 tons of drugs have been confiscated," the respective statement reads.
It is noted that this year, Bolivian law enforcement has seized 20 planes and helicopters, too, destroyed more than 50 secret laboratories, and arrested 2,768 people.
Earlier, 433kgs of cocaine was found in the Andes.
