The Azerbaijani defense ministry denies news of the deaths of servicemen.

Azerbaijani media reports that some social media outlets have spread information about the deaths and injuries of Azerbaijani army servicemen as a result of an avalanche. The Defence Ministry denied this information. The ministry stressed that the information was inaccurate.

 At the same time, the ministry also reported that military servicemen, namely, Sergeant Jeyhun Abdullayev and soldier Suleyman Hasanzade were slightly injured as a result of the loss of control of the military car at 17:40 on January 5.
