The official representative of the police of Almaty, Kazakhstan, said that attempts were made at night to attack administrative buildings, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports.

It is reported that dozens of attackers have been “neutralized.”

"The situation is under control at the moment," the respective statement said.

"Last night, extremist forces attempted to attack administrative buildings, the Almaty city police department, as well as district departments and police stations. Dozens of attackers have been neutralized, and their identities are being determined," Saltanat Azirbek, a representative of the Almaty police, told Khabar 24 television.

An anti-terrorist operation is being carried out at the site of three administrative buildings in Almaty.
