Twelve law enforcement officers were killed in Almaty, one of them is beheaded, Khabar-24 TV channel reported, citing the commandant's office.
It is noted that 353 law enforcement officers were wounded at the hands of the protesters.
Earlier, it was reported that more than a thousand people across Kazakhstan were injured in the disturbances, with around 400 people hospitalized. Another 62 people are in intensive care.
