January 7—the day after Armenian Christmas—is the Day of Remembrance of the Dead, in Armenia.
On this day, at the end of the Divine Liturgy, a requiem service is held in all Armenian Apostolic churches, after which people visit the graves of their deceased relatives.
According to the government's decision, January 7 is a working day in Armenia.
