Chinese President Xi Jinping in his message to Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev showed support for friendly neighbor and strategic partner, Kazakhstan in connection with the recent events, Xinhua reported.

In his oral message, Xi Jinping expressed his sincere condolences for the significant casualties and property damage resulting from the unrest in Kazakhstan in recent days.

Xi Jinping emphasized that the Chinese side strongly opposes the undermining of stability in Kazakhstan by any forces and threats to security in the country, the disruption of the peaceful life of the people of Kazakhstan by any forces, the intentions of any outside forces to organize unrest in Kazakhstan, as well as attempts to undermine the Chinese-Kazakh friendship and hinder cooperation between the two countries.

Chinese President said that despite any risks and challenges, China will remain a trustworthy friend and reliable partner of Kazakhstan, and the Chinese people will always stand by the side of the people of Kazakhstan.

Meanwhile, earlier the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the events in Kazakhstan are an internal matter of the country.
