Iran is ready to negotiate with all countries whose citizens died aboard the Boeing 737 of Ukraine International Airlines shot down near Tehran, the Iranian news agency IRNA reports.
"The relevant structures in Iran voiced the true cause of the incident and took measures in accordance with the country's domestic legislation and international obligations," the statement says.
The independent aviation technical group responsible for investigations under the International Civil Aviation Convention (Chicago Convention 1944) and its annexes has published a technical report in cooperation with the countries concerned and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
In Iran, a trial was launched and several hearings were held in the presence of relatives of the victims, and by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated January 5, 2021, it was decided to pay compensation to the families and relatives of each of the victims of the plane crash.
