The adoption of any documents following the extraordinary session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), scheduled for January 10, is currently not planned, the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov told RIA Novosti.

“Not yet,” said the agency's interlocutor, answering the relevant question.

The session of the CSTO Collective Security Council with the participation of the leadership of five states, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, was convened at the request of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. There is one issue on the agenda on the situation in Kazakhstan and measures to normalize it.

The meeting will be held via videoconference under the chairmanship of Armenia.
