The Nagorno-Karabakh Foreign Ministry issued a statement in connection with repeated ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani side.

"Today, on January 10, the Azerbaijani side again grossly violated the ceasefire by shelling civilians and civilian objects in the communities of Karmir Shuka, Tagavard of Martuni region and Nakhijevanik of Askeran region of the Republic of Artsakh.

Such actions are the manifestation of the anti-Armenian and Nazi policy of the Azerbaijani statehood, providing further proof that the peace-loving statements of the Azerbaijani authorities have nothing in common with the real terrorist and expansionist aims pursued by this country against Artsakh, the Armenian people and the region.

The aggressive behavior of Azerbaijan since the cessation of hostilities is a blatant violation of achieved agreements, norms of international law, principles of humanity and is directed to intimidate the society of the Republic of Artsakh as well as to disrupt the activities of the Russian peacekeeping mission.

We consider it necessary to stress once again that such actions will not succeed in shattering the determination of the people of Artsakh to live and work in Artsakh, for whom any status within Azerbaijan is categorically unacceptable.

We will continue to develop and strengthen our homeland," the statement said.
