The leadership of peacekeepers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) together with the Defense Ministry of Kazakhstan is working on a plan for the transfer of facilities guarded by peacekeepers to law enforcement agencies, Andrey Serdyukov, commander of the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO, told this to the press, TASS reported.

He emphasized that after the fulfillment of their tasks, the peacekeeping forces of the CSTO in cooperation with the Kazakh side will organize the return of their units with the equipment to the permanent bases by the planes of the military transport aviation of the Russian Air Force.

Serdyukov also reported that the CSTO peacekeepers guarded five socially important facilities in Kazakhstan.

According to Serdyukov, the rapid deployment of CSTO peacekeepers and the execution of tasks to protect important facilities allowed the law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan to stabilize the situation in the country.
