YEREVAN. – The Investigative Committee of Armenia has opened a criminal case in connection with the killing of three Armenian servicemen by the shots fired by the Azerbaijani armed forces, the Investigative Committee informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to preliminary information, Armenia conscripts—Privates Artur Mkhitaryan (born in 2002) and Vahan Babayan (born in 2003), as well as Junior Sergeant Rudik Gharibyan (born in 2002)—sustained fatal gunshot wounds as a result of the shots fired Tuesday by the adversary—and in the direction of the military outpost located in the guard post of a military unit located in the eastern part of Armenia.

A criminal investigation is underway.
