U.S. President Joe Biden's popularity rating has fallen by 3%, now only a one-third of the county's residents support him, according to the results of a Quinnipiac University Poll published Wednesday.

According to the poll, the approval rating of the current White House leader has fallen from 36 to 33% since last November, while 53% are dissatisfied with Biden's decisions and the rest have not been able to decide on their attitude towards the American leader. Support for Biden decreased noticeably among supporters of the Democratic Party as well - from 87% to 75%.

Decisions made by the government on the economy, foreign policy and the fight against the spread of the coronavirus were supported by 34-39% of the questioned. After a year in office, half of the respondents said their expectations of Biden's performance matched reality, with 39% of those surveyed saying they expected more.

The survey was conducted between January 7 and 10 and included 1,313 U.S. citizens.
