At Thursday’s court case on second President Robert Kocharyan’s lawsuit against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Armenia, presiding Judge Sergey Sahakyan denied the motion of Kocharyan's lawyer Hayk Alumyan

At the previous court session, Alumyan had submitted a motion for self-recusal of the presiding judge.

The aforesaid civil lawsuit refers to the slanderous remarks made by Pashinyan during the rally in Yerevan's Republic Square on March 1 last year.

In April, Kocharyan's lawyer, Hayk Alumyan, had filed a lawsuit with a request to defend his client’s honor and dignity from public expressed slander and a compensation for non-pecuniary damage caused by this slander.
