There has been no discussion about being appointed ambassador to Canada. Ruling Civil Contract Party MP Hrachya Hakobyan—who is also the brother-in-law of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan—told this to Armenian News-NEWS.am—and referring to the information circulating in the press, according to which he will be appointed as the new Armenian ambassador to Canada.

And asked whether or not he will accept such an offer, Hakobyan responded: "If there is an offer, I will think about it then."
