Alen Simonyan and Armen Sarkissian discuss external and internal challenges

Armenian Parliament speaker Alen Simonyan met with Armenian President Armen Sarkissian on January 13.

During the meeting, the parties discussed internal and external challenges facing Armenia, the National Assembly press service informed NEWS.am.

The sides discussed the provocations of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in recent days and Baku's warlike rhetoric, as well as exchanged views on the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.

They also exchanged views on the role of parliamentary diplomacy, with Simonian and Sarkissian stressing its importance in developing international relations.
