At Wednesday's sitting, the National Assembly elected Hovhannes Khachatryan as the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA).
In the respective secret ballot, 70 MPs voted for Khachatryan’s candidacy, whereas 5 others—against.
Hovhannes Khachatryan has worked at the CBA Statistics Department for about six years, is a member of the CBA Board, and has no political party affiliation.
