The US embassy has repeatedly urged its citizens to leave Ukraine and published a roadmap with a list of countries to leave Ukraine, the US embassy has said on its website, TASS reported.

“The security situation in Ukraine continues to be unpredictable due to the increased threat of Russian military action and can deteriorate with little notice. The U.S. Embassy urges U.S. citizens in Ukraine to consider departing now using commercial or other privately available transportation options,” the embassy said.

Evacuation routes are then published. Departures through Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova are suggested. At the same time, a note is made that it is not allowed to go through Transnistria. It is noted, however, that the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv remains open.

"The Department asks all U.S. citizens in Ukraine to complete an online form so that we may better communicate with you.  This is especially important if you plan to remain in Ukraine. Finally, as noted in our previous message, commercial flights from Ukraine’s international airports are available," the statement said.

Earlier, in addition to the USA, Australia, the UK, Germany, Canada, and Japan announced the evacuation of some of their diplomats and their families.
