Based on the necessity of improving the balance of power among the branches of power, enhancing the efficiency of public administration and guided by Article 93 point 7 of the Constitution of the Republic of Artsakh, President Arayik Harutyunyan signed on 31 January a decree on establishing the Constitutional Reform Commission.

As reported by the press service of the Artsakh President, the decree affirms the personal composition of the commission headed by the Head of the Department of Government Affairs of the Presidential Administration Arayik Lazaryan.

According to the decree, the Commission is instructed to submit to the President the concept of constitutional reforms within three months.
