Azerbaijani and Turkish Defense Ministers Zakir Hasanov and Hulusi Akar discussed prospects for cooperation in the military, military-technical sectors and military education, Azerbaijani media reported.

"The sides touched on the importance of the experience gained by Azerbaijani and Turkish servicemen during joint exercises and stressed the need to hold such events on a regular basis. Azerbaijan is further expanding cooperation with Turkey in order to increase its military power," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.
