The Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) National Assembly (NA) on Wednesday passed, in the first reading, the draft law on making an amendment to the Artsakh Constitution.

Also, the NA decided to send this proposed law to the Supreme Court of Artsakh to determine its constitutionality.

With the aforesaid amendment, the period for reviewing the administrative-territorial division of Artsakh shall be increased from 5 years to 10 years—and that period ends in March.

Several other matters are also on the agenda of the current sessions of the Artsakh NA.
