Negotiations on the Persian Gulf-Black Sea corridor agreement continue,  Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Mehdi Safari said, Mehr reported.

According to him, talks on the Persian Gulf-Black Sea Corridor Agreement between Iran, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Bulgaria and Greece are still ongoing. He added that the sixth round of negotiations is planned to be held in Sofia, Bulgaria in April and May, and then the text of the agreement will be ready for signing.

He also informed that informal preparations are underway with the ambassadors of the countries participating in the agreement in Tehran and other relevant capitals. He stressed that a pilot program has recently been implemented in cooperation with Azerbaijan and Georgia to move cargo from Iran to the Black Sea.
