Russian and French presidents Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron discussed the situation around Ukraine.

According to the Kremlin press service, the sides continued a substantive dialogue on the situation around Ukraine and issues related to the Russian initiative on the development of long-term legal guarantees of security of the Russian Federation.

The leaders exchanged assessments of the current situation, including recent contacts with a number of international partners, as well as in the context of the French presidency of the Council of the European Union.

“Vladimir Putin once again drew attention to the provocative statements and actions of the Kyiv leadership that run counter to the Minsk agreements," the report said.
