Russian oil companies have prepared "very good new solutions" for the supply of hydrocarbons to China, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Friday during his meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, TASS reports.

"For our meeting today, our oil workers have prepared very good new solutions for the supply of hydrocarbons to the People's Republic of China, and the [natural] gas industry has taken another step forward. I mean the new contract for the supply of 10 billion cubic meters of [natural] gas a year from Russia’s Far East to China,” Putin said

According to him, the relations between Russia and China have become unprecedented, and the two countries assist each other's development.

"As for bilateral relations, they are developing in the spirit of friendship and strategic partnership. They have become truly unprecedented and are an example of worthy relations that help each other develop and at the same time assist each other's development," the Russian President said.
