French President Emmanuel Macron in talks with European Council President Charles Michel, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said progress has been made in the search for missing persons.

"President Macron and European Council President Michel reaffirmed their full commitment to support efforts to reduce tensions and build confidence in the region. They appreciated the progress made since the meetings on the margins of the Eastern Partnership summit, in particular the recent release of detainees, the ongoing joint efforts to find missing persons, and the upcoming restoration of railroad tracks.The heads of state and government agreed that the meeting provided a valuable opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues. The EU and France remain committed to working with other partners, including the OSCE, to build a prosperous, secure and stable South Caucasus," the statement of the Elysee Palace said.
