YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: The National Security Service as well as various political forces regularly conduct public opinion polls to find out the real [approval] rating of the [country’s] political forces and [PM] Nikol Pashinyan. As a rule, such studies are not publicized, they are for internal use. According to our information, such a study was conducted recently by the order of third president Serzh Sargsyan.

The results of the survey are kept confidential. But people familiar with their results claim that the picture was quite inspiring for the opposition. According to those polls, although incumbent Prime Minister Pashinyan has the highest [approval] rating among individual figures as of this moment, too, it has fallen considerably, and at the moment it is in the range of 20-25 percent, and it has a trend to decrease.

Let us note as well that all the [Armenian] authorities always have about 30 percent [approval rating] on the account of [using] administrative resources.
