Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has signed a decree approving the “Shushi Declaration,” which envisages military cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan, according to Anadolu Agency.

Earlier, the parliaments of the two countries had ratified this "declaration."

"President Erdogan received a delegation from the Council of Aksakals [i.e., Elders] of the Organization of Turkic States. During the reception, President Erdogan signed the corresponding presidential decree, whereby he approved the Shusha [(Shushi)] Declaration adopted by the Turkish Parliament. The decree will soon be publicized in the official bulletin of the government and will enter into force," Anadolu Agency reported.
