The Iraqi leadership calls on its citizens to leave the territory of Ukraine, and the staff of the embassy in Kiev to take an annual leave, based on security considerations, Foreign Ministry of the Arab Republic reported.

The Foreign Ministry expresses its concern for the safety of the Iraqi community in Ukraine due to the emergency circumstances prevailing there, and calls on Iraqis to leave Ukrainian territory, and also asks citizens to refrain from traveling to this country for their own safety, the Iraqi news agency quoted the ministry as saying.

The Foreign Ministry called on the staff of the Arab Republic's embassy in Kyiv to take advantage of their annual leave in such a way as to ensure the safety of members of the diplomatic mission.
