Three earthquakes with magnitudes from 2.2 to 4.1 were recorded in Italy on Sunday, Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center website reports.

According to its information, the strongest of the tremors was recorded at 20:47. Epicenter was located 25 km away from Reggio Emilia town (population about 133 thousand people). The source was located at a depth of 15 km. There was no information about victims and destruction.

The last powerful earthquake in Italy occurred in late August 2016 near the town of Amatrice, on the border between the regions of Lazio, Marche, Umbria and Abruzzo. 299 people died at the time.
