Another earthquake hit Georgia, the tremors were recorded at 18:13 Tbilisi time near the village of Sameba in Kvemo Kartli region, 80 km from Tbilisi, Novosti-Gruzia reported.

According to the National Seismic Monitoring Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was 3.9.

An earthquake with magnitude 6.2 struck Georgia on Sunday at 22:25, Tbilisi time. The epicenter was near the village of Sameba. The earthquake damaged a school building and around 20 houses in Dmanisi municipality.

As experts predicted, after the first strong tremor, earthquakes in the area of the epicentre continued throughout the night, with seismologists recording six more tremors.

The next tremor occurred on Sunday at 22:28 in the same place with a magnitude of 4.5 at a depth of 11 kilometres.

The shocks then decreased in intensity to a magnitude 3.1 at 00:14, and the last quake was recorded at 03:35 local time with a magnitude of 3.5.
