YEREVAN. – Past daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: According to Past newspaper’s information, at the end of last year, one of the Western-funded NGOs in the RA received a new grant package of about 3.5 million [US] dollars "to provide assistance" to preschools and lower grades at schools in the RA. According to our information, the manuals published with that amount will be exclusively free from the teaching of patriotic upbringing; the main emphasis will be placed on various stories about globalization and modern world ideas.

According to our government source, a not open but active lobbying is being carried out by government agencies in connection with this program. Moreover, we were told that one of the high-ranking officials would be engaged in overseeing the program. This is the very reason why meetings have already been held at the beginning of this year, during which the procedure for conducting the work, in particular "trainings," and general emphases were explained.

It turns out that another incomprehensible tranche has been received [by Armenia] in order to dictate its own agenda within the state and to carry out a new propaganda process.
