The foreign ministers of Armenia and Russia, Ararat Mirzoyan and Sergey Lavrov, had a phone conversation on Tuesday to discuss a range of topical issues, the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
The sides discussed topical bilateral and regional issues, including the implementation of the trilateral agreements of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia of 9 November 2020, 11 January and 26 November 2021, as well as cooperation in the CSTO taking into account Armenia's chairmanship.
In addition, the sides exchanged views on the negotiations on security guarantees.
The statement says that the importance of consistently upholding the principles of equal and indivisible security in the Euro-Atlantic region was also stressed.
