On Tuesday, around 15:30 shots were fired from Azerbaijani positions situated near the village of Khramort in the Askeran region of Artsakh, the Artsakh General Prosecutor's Office reported.
A tractor was damaged and citizens managed to escape thanks to the intervention of Russian peacekeepers.
"Instead of threatening citizens of the Republic of Artsakh with detention or criminal prosecution, we would advise the Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan to take minimum measures to prevent the physical destruction of civilians in Artsakh and bring the perpetrators of such crimes to justice. This is not only the only civilized approach for 'peace-seeking' countries, but also an internationally and publicly accepted obligation of Azerbaijan, which has acceded to the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms," the report says.
