The second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan does not think that the Armenian side is ready to sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan.

"At first Azerbaijan reportedly insisted on the delimitation of the border, then on a peace treaty. Now the situation has changed, and Azerbaijan is seeking the signing of the agreement. I cannot imagine such an agreement between the two countries without mutual recognition of territorial integrity," the second president noted.

According to him, in order not to endanger himself, the Armenian side will try to delay the process.

"It would be right if the army and borders were strengthened in parallel, but nothing is being done. If they take the path of postponing, it will mean one thing - to delay undesirable developments as much as possible," Kocharyan noted, comparing what is happening with a person who does not want to go to the dentist until the very end.
