To facilitate the identification of human remains in the future, 793 biological samples have been collected from members of the families of 316 people missing from the conflict in the 1990s, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) reported.

According to the report, the ICRC as a neutral intermediary carried out 346 operations on the search and removal of human remains in the territories where hostilities took place. The families of 347 missing persons were provided with psycho-social support.

These figures slightly differ from the 4000 missing people reported by Azerbaijan.
