Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan received Ambassador of Netherlands to Armenia Nico Schermers on Thursday, the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry informed NEWS.am.

During the meeting, they discussed regional security issues. Upon the ambassador's request, the defense minister presented the border situation in Karabakh after the end of hostilities, as well as Armenia's position and proposals aimed at easing tensions.

Issues related to international developments were also discussed. The sides exchanged views on the regional and international situation, security and opportunities for cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats.
