The Ukrainian Defence Ministry has once again denied all accusations that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are allegedly preparing offensive actions in Donbas, the website of the Defence Ministry reported.

The ministry described as misinformation the rebels' accusations about the preparation of an offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas.

"The Ukrainian army does not plan any offensives and does not use weapons if it could pose a threat to civilians. All activities in the area of the Joint Forces Operation are of defensive nature," the ministry said.

As the MoD notes, Ukraine clearly adheres to its commitments and advocates a political and diplomatic scenario for resolving the conflict.

"Ukraine, on the contrary, wants peace in Donbas and its revival. Because this is our land, our people live there. We do not plan any offensives. Because it could pose a threat to our citizens in the temporarily occupied territories," Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said.
