The sanctions of the European Union (EU) against the Russian Federation in the event of a war in Ukraine will affect the energy sector and access to high technology. This was announced Saturday by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, The News Glory reported.

“We have already agreed on tough sanctions against Russia, which will include restrictions on the energy sector and on high technology,” von der Leyen said at the Munich Security Conference.

In addition, she called the current conflict in Ukraine “created by Russia.”
