Belarusian president Alexander Lukashenko is holding an operational meeting with the military, BelTA informs.
Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation on the morning of Thursday.
"At about 5 am today, a telephone conversation took place between the Presidents of Belarus and Russia, during which Vladimir Putin informed his Belarusian counterpart about the situation on the border with Ukraine and Donbass," the statement came.
