The Honorary Consulate of Azerbaijan in Kharkiv has begun evacuating its citizens wishing to return home, RIA Novosti reported on Friday.
"Azerbaijani citizens living in Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions who wish to leave for Azerbaijan may apply to the Honorary Consulate of Azerbaijan in Kharkiv for registration," the statement said.
