The duties of the Acting Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia have been assigned to the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Kamo Kochunts. This information was confirmed to Armenian News-NEWS.am by the Ministry of Defense.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, Artak Davtyan was relieved of his post as Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, on February 24. On the same day, several other dismissals as well as appointments took place at the General Staff.
