The spot price of gas in Europe on Monday morning updated its historical record, reaching $2,700 per 1,000 cubic meters.
The price of the nearest (April) futures on the TTF hub reached $2,704 per thousand cubic meters, while on Friday the auction ended at $2,504, according to the ICE Futures exchange.
