STEPANAKERT. – The statement disseminated by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan on Monday that the units of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Defense Army allegedly opened fire on the Azerbaijani military positions located in the eastern direction is false and has nothing to do with reality.

In fact, the ceasefire in the aforesaid direction has been violated in recent days on a regular basis by the Azerbaijani armed forces, and the relevant information has been provided to the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, the Artsakh Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The units of the Artsakh Defense Army did not suffer any losses as a result of the aforementioned violations by the Azerbaijani side.
