The "Civil Contract" Faction is not discussing the adoption of a law or a statement on the Azerbaijani occupation of the sovereign territories of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). Eduard Aghajanyan, Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations and an MP from the ruling majority “Civil Contract” Faction of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, said this at Monday’s press briefing in the NA.

The reporters asked, in particular, whether the parliament of Armenia, following the example of the Artsakh NA, could adopt a document—in the form of a law or a statement—on the occupation of the territories of Nagorno-Karabakh by Azerbaijan.

Aghajanyan responded that the "Civil Contract" Faction was not considering such a matter.
