Azerbaijani Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov held a service meeting.

According to Azerbaijani media reports quoting the Ministry's press service, the Minister "gave appropriate instructions to further increase the combat readiness of units, improve the knowledge and skills of the command staff, study the capabilities of weapons and equipment adopted for service, as well as to conduct exercises at night and daytime in accordance with the actual combat conditions."

In accordance with President Ilham Aliyev's instructions, Zakir Hasanov instructed to accelerate the application of the Turkish Armed Forces model in the Azerbaijani army, including in the field of military education.
