The fourth round of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations will be held in Belarus in the near future, member of the Russian delegation, head of the Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky told journalists after the third round of negotiations, TASS reported.

According to him, it would be naive to suppose that anything will be signed today. "There is no doubt that work on these documents will continue in the very near future. So, the next, fourth round will take place in Belarus in the very near future," said Slutsky. He added that he can't tell the exact date, but "it will be determined in the near future.

"Let's not indulge in illusions that in the next step, there will be a final result. It will be quite a hard and consistent work," the parliamentarian added. He noted that the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine are seriously progressing.

The Russian and Ukrainian delegations discussed the possibility of withdrawing people from the war zone through humanitarian corridors.

"We discussed today specific destinations with geographical names and detailed waste. We hope that the next attempts to evacuate people will be made as soon as possible and will be successful," Slutsky said.
