Speaker Artur Tovmasyan of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) National Assembly on Tuesday issued a congratulatory message to Armenian women on the occasion of their one-month holidays.

"For centuries, the Armenian woman has been the pillar—which determines the longevity of our nation—of the Armenian hearth and the Armenian nation.

I am convinced that thanks to your devotion, self-sacrifice, wisdom, and endurance, we will be able to overcome the dire hardships that have befallen us.

"Yes, our fate was cruel, the losses—immeasurable. But on this sacred day, let us have faith that the day is not far when we will record with content that all the difficulties are left in the past," the message reads, in part.
